Starting Over - Jason - 12-24-2018
Well, it used to happen every time we upgraded the forum to the newest software. We’ve been using the same forum for years, but now it’s happened again.
We’re now marking December 24, 2018 as the new beginning of the Hebrew Café’s Jewish Forums.
Guess it’s a good time to clean out the gutters and be ready for the new year and a new forum home.
This is our time to redefine ourselves, reestablish the rules by which our forum plays, rethink how we can work together as a forum community (and family).
I’m sorry for this happening again after so many years. I hope you’ll move forward with me into our next phase.

Moderators: Once you are signed up, let me know so that I can get your permissions changed. I will be creating a staff-only forum immediately.
For now, the permissions are not working as they are expected to work. I have simply put the Staff Forum under a password in the meantime.

I have them backed up on my computer, but I don't think they are accessible. I'm not sure what to do about it.

You might be right about bringing the number of forums down. I think I'll create tags that we can use instead of different forums.

Yay -- I made it in!
Note to any members who are finding it difficult to retrieve a password. Check the spam folder in your email. I just discovered today that that's where all my retrieved password attempts had wound up!
