RE: Reincarnation - Robert - 11-23-2023

In my having read through all the Jewish Scriptures, I do not recall even one mention or example of "reincarnation".
However, "reincarnation" is accepted as a concept in Judaism, as shown here (and I hope the discussion is brief enough not to be over-complicated):

By the way, there is no such concept as "reincarnation" in Buddhism; that term being more applicable to Hinduism.
In Buddhism:

Quote:"Buddhists recognise that there is a continuous cycle of life, death and rebirth. This cycle is known as samsara. The ultimate aim of Buddhist practice is to become free from samsara."

Though not directly what this discussion thread is about, I recall a documentary which featured a young boy who knew German without having learnt it, and who recalled a previous life in the second world war. While I cannot now identify the documentary and locating the case on the Internet is not easy, yet I have found the following, which may, or may not, be the same case:

In regard to the later discussion on this thread, Judaism is both an ethnicity as well as a religion.
