Since a gentile is defined as someone who is not a Jew, you are, in fact, a gentile. There is nothing wrong with that.

Welcome to the forum! Looking forward to learning about your beliefs. As Rabbi O said, if you are not a Jew you are a Gentile. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.
