question about Hebrew new year - WatchingforYeshua - 03-14-2023 Hello everyone, I hope your day has been great. I was reading in Shemot (Exodus) about the establishment of the first of the year and Passover in the month of Nisan. I also recently read that the New Year is celebrated in the month of Tishrei? I was wondering if anyone could talk about the change? Thank you! RE: question about Hebrew new year - searchinmyroots - 03-20-2023 Good question. The answer is as far as I know, is that there are seversl "New Year's" in the Hebrew bible, not just one. Each is related to something different.
