First question - Iberian - 04-29-2019 Sorry if I havent complied much to the first rules setup but I have a question as an Iberian I am most interested perhaps Sephardi affairs but will also participate in other discussions because I have much to know about jewish history. My first real real question to you guys is about the way a jew is created please dont take this the wrong way I am just curious. In my ideai think it is the Mother that makes the jew but is the classification of who a jew is so simple as that? Or are some more complications? RE: First question - Jason - 04-29-2019 Perhaps you mean to ask how to DEFINE (not "create") a Jew. RE: First question - Chavak - 04-29-2019 Yes, it is as simple as that. If one's mother is Jewish, then the person also is Jewish. Another way is to go through a conversion.
