The following source makes no mention about Jew internment in these camps. But rather the internment of exclusively what the Italians referered to as "Barbarians":

Because your informational source is of Jewish origin, it is especially important that the editor there applies oversight. Otherwise, [bold]if[/bold] this source has distorted historical facts, further publications from this, as well as from all other Jewish sources could be used by enemies of the Jewish people for tivialising Jewish news in general.

The only reference to Jews describes rather their collaboration with the Italian colonizers of which may be the reason for the Jewish cemetary's desecration (however, there may be further pertinent reference in the appendix sources of this document), if the desecration had taken place before the Palestinian Issue had been publicized or even after the 6-day War of which initiated the expulsion of Jews, or at least the suppression of their status, throughout the Arab-settled world following this event:
