Here, some possible good news from France 24. Unlike half-Jew Sarkozy who turned out to be a menace for resident Jews, there seems to be a glimmer of hope with this new 100%er presidential candidate arrival:

Eric Zemmour accused of revisionism:
- - - - Start of extract: - - - -

Quote:"[...] Zemmour [Eric Zemmour, French presidential candidate], who is running on a xenophobic, clash-of-civilization platform based on a glorified history of France, has repeatedly claimed that Pétain [the Nazi-collaborationist regime of Marshal Philippe Pétain] “protected French Jews and gave away foreign Jews” and that his collaboration with Hitler was the lesser evil, allowing him to save the French and give time to Charles de Gaulle, who was leading the resistance from exile in London, to liberate the country.

“Pétain certainly did not do that!” said Crétier [97-year-old André Crétier, the last resistance fighter from the Vichy area]: “The French police [under Pétain] dressed in civilian clothes, arrested my fellow resistance fighters and handed them over to the Gestapo, they weren’t exactly great Frenchmen.”

Zemmour, who is Jewish, has also sparked the ire of the Jewish community in Vichy with his revisionism of the role that Petain played. [...]"

“Vichy reminds us of a history … I think we are better off respecting, studying history and allowing historians to build a historiographic truth based on evidence and documents, and let’s avoid manipulating it, agitating it, revising it,” Macron [Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic] said [...]"

Despite having good intentions, neither were the Partisans. Partisanship and mercinarism breach international conventions of which only protect uniformed armies. Although their acts did serve to slow down the Germans a bit, the revenge taken on ordinary citizens because of these acts was disastrous and even came close to wiping Paris off the map.

Just to be clear - That quote is from André Crétier.

Passive means of resistance is one thing. It was the ambushing of their enemy which brought wrath down on both captured Partisans and on the civilian population.

There's always the question of poll accuracy:

...Who is Eric Zemmour? He is the man who broke through the glass ceiling to insert into the media discussion topics such as "immigration" and "jihad" -- which no one had ever dared to talk about publicly. He is a man who embodies the fear of seeing traditional France -- the one of church steeples and the "baguette" -- disappear under the blows of jihad and political correctness...
