However , this does not mean that the <span class=\"he\">\u05e4\u05b8\u05bc\u05e2\u05b7\u05dc<\/span> is simple. In order to cover the main regularities and irregularities of this pattern, I have decided to split the explanations for <span class=\"he\">\u05e4\u05bc\u05b8\u05e2\u05b7\u05dc<\/span> in two articles to enhance clarity.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"mod-reset\"><!--more--><\/p>\r\n<h2>The most common form of <span class=\"he\">\u05e4\u05bc\u05b8\u05e2\u05b7\u05dc<\/span><\/h2>\r\n<ul class=\"\">\r\n<li><strong>The infinitive<\/strong>: the most common form of the <span class=\"he\">\u05e4\u05bc\u05b8\u05e2\u05b7\u05dc<\/span> infinitive is<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\">\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container\">\r\n<h3 class=\"has-text-align-center\"><span class=\"he\">\u05dc\u05b4\u05e4\u05b0\u05e2\u05b9\u05d5\u05dc<\/span><\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"\">Please notice the <span class=\"he\">\u05d5<\/span> between the second and the third letter of the root. This is the main characteristic of verbs in the <span class=\"he\">\u05e4\u05bc\u05b8\u05e2\u05b7\u05dc<\/span> pattern.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li><strong>The present<\/strong>: the present tense in Hebrew has only 4 distinguishable conjugations (feminine and masculine; singular and plural):<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"\"><strong>example<\/strong>: <span class=\"he\">\u05dc\u05b4\u05db\u05b0\u05ea\u05bc\u05d5\u05b9\u05d1<\/span> &#8211; to write<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure <span class=\"he\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">\u05d5<\/span><\/span> between the first and the second letter of the root and no suffix<\/li>\r\n<li>The<strong> feminine singular<\/strong>, besides the <span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\"><strong>\u05d5<\/strong> <\/span>, has a <span class=\"he\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-purple-color\">\u05ea<\/span><\/span> as a suffix<\/li>\r\n<li>The <strong>masculine plural <\/strong>has the ending <span class=\"he\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">\u05d9\u05dd<\/span><\/span><\/li>\r\n<li>The<strong> feminine plural<\/strong> has the ending <span class=\"he\"><span class=\"has-inline-color .<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>In the future, in most cases the <strong>prefix<\/strong> <span class=\"he\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-amber-color\">\u05ea<\/span> will indicate the second person<\/span><\/li>\r\n<li>the <strong>suffix <span class=\"has-inline-color\" style=\"color: #6922ac;\">\u05d5<\/span><\/strong> indicates the plural for <span class=\"he\">\u05d0\u05ea\u05dd\/\u05d0\u05ea\u05df<\/span> and <span class=\"he\">\u05d4\u05df \/\u05d4\u05dd<\/span><\/li>\r\n<li>the <strong>prefix<\/strong> <span class=\"he\">\u05d9<\/span> indicates 3rd person<\/li>\r\n<li>the form for <span class=\"he\">\u05d0\u05ea\u05d4<\/span> and <span class=\"he\">\u05d4\u05d9\u05d0<\/span> is the same, <strong>both<\/strong> in <strong>print<\/strong> and <strong>spoke<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<li>The <strong>future<\/strong> is used as the <strong>imperative<\/strong> in most cases<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>The imperative<\/strong>: although the imperative may not be widely used , in more <strong>formal<\/strong> situations and in the <strong>written<\/strong> language it is still the preferred form.<\/li>\r\n<li>Such as the present, there are only four conjugations in the imperative:<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"he\">\u05dc\u05b4\u05e4\u05b0\u05e2\u05b4\u05d5\u05b9\u05ea<\/span><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The most common irregularity of the verb <span class=\"he\">\u05e4\u05b8\u05bc\u05e2\u05b7\u05dc<\/span> is the form where the LAST letter of the root is a <span class=\"he\">\u05d4<\/span> but because of its usual mute sound when making the <strong>infinitive<\/strong> the <span class=\"he\">\u05d4<\/span> <strong>is replaced by <span class=\"he\">\u05ea<\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span class=\"he\">Examples<\/span>:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span class=\"he\">\u05dc\u05b7\u05e2\u05b2\u05e9\u05c2\u05d5\u05b9\u05ea<\/span> &#8211; to do<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span class=\"he\">\u05dc\u05b4\u05e7\u05b0\u05e0\u05d5\u05b9\u05ea<\/span> &#8211; to buy<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span class=\"he\">\u05dc\u05b4\u05e9\u05c1\u05b0\u05ea\u05bc\u05d5\u05b9\u05ea<\/span> &#8211; to drink<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>we will use the verb <span class=\"he\">\u05dc\u05b7\u05e2\u05b2\u05e9\u05c2\u05d5\u05b9\u05ea<\/span> for the demonstration of the 3rd letter of the root disappears and you simply put the endings after the 2nd letter of the root.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul
