That's the point I was making. It does seem like that, unless there may be reasons for the proposed changes that we might consider, before coming to the conclusion that you say (a conclusion indeed shared by all the protesters).
Are there arguable-reasons for the proposed changes / arguable-reasons for the Israeli government's concerns, and if so what are they?
Is the Israeli government's concerns / reasons, based on the track-record of decision-making by judges of the Israeli Supreme Court, and if so what is that decision-making track-record?
