Evidence is not enough: The purpose of divine signs is not simply to provide factual evidence, but to awaken the heart to faith. If the heart is unwilling, no amount of evidence will suffice.
Unbelief as a choice: The refusal to believe in the face of divine revelation is not a passive state but an active choice of the will. It is a rebellion against the divine truth that is made plain to the senses.
Destructive consequences: Such an attitude is shown to be ultimately destructive, leading to ruin for those who persist in it
