Israel: Alleged War Crimes and Quality of Evidence
#1
Alleged War Crimes and "Quality of Evidence":

Recently on a different website, a pro Palestinian Arab accused me of accepting asserted evidence of alleged war crimes against the Palestinian Arabs, but not accepting asserted evidence of alleged war crimes against Israel.

I therefore hope the following will assist the reader when arguing these same points:

Firstly, some terms:

'Law: "Evidence" [is] Something legally submitted to a court or other tribunal to prove or ascertain the truth of a matter.':
https://legaldictionary.net/evidence/

"Proof" is evidence submitted to assist a court in making its decision.
The "Standard" of proof in criminal cases is high and termed "beyond reasonable doubt",
while in civil cases the "standard" of proof is lower and termed "on a balance of probabilities".
(Law of England and Wales):

The "burden" of proving an allegation is generally upon the party making it:

The quality of evidence purported for war crimes allegedly committed by Israel is typically such, that it requires corroboration or/and may indicate that investigation is appropriate.

The quality of evidence purported for war crimes allegedly committed by the Palestinian Arabs is typically such, that it is compelling
For example in the October 7th, 2023 massacre, evidence is compelling because examples are that there is:
corroborating evidence from survivors (plural !),
video footage taken by the perpetrators of their own actions,
and forensic evidence.
