General: Need help finding where Hebrew text came from

The text is extremely limited. However, I was able to locate it. It came from a book called הרומנים של ש"י עגנון by Professor Dan Meiron of the Open University in Israel. It's from pages 219-220.

I've attached the text as it should appear with context.
