Half of it is wiped out.
Yesterday, we went as well and now we're considering downloading the grocery store App for home delivery. Never thought I'd see that day. Maybe that could be an option in these times? This morning on the news there was mention of an increase in job openings for people being laid off of restaurant positions, to grocery store home delivery service. It seems like a good effort to eliminate the long lines and resulting frustration.
Yes, my son has been telling me for years to just "order your food online", and "why do you want to go to the store and wait on line?".
Well, I like interaction with people (except of course if they are sick!) and it's also nice to get out and also to see what new things may be offered.
But with what's going on now, it might be the safer way to go.
My son told me he cannot order food with Amazon Prime because they don't want people to hoard all the food leaving the shoppers at Whole Foods with nothing.
Hope life gets back to normal sometime soon!
