Thanks for the post and the shout-out, Baruch! Sorry that JewishGen hasn't helped you much with tracing your ancestors. Have you tried their JewishGen Online Worldwide Burial Registry (JOWBR)?
If you're already a member of JewishGen, then you can access it for free. Also, Ancestry.com provides free access to the Registry through membership with them.
One of the great things about the Registry (besides locating graves) is that it will give you the Hebrew name of the person you are looking for. Not even FindAGrave.com does that.
