Christians were not mocked and the link you provided gives a bogus take on the event. This event is very easy to research if you are interested in learning of the truth which was not about "The Last Supper" or of insulting Christianity. It was a homage to the Greek god Dionysus - Greek god of fertility, wine and revelry.
The artist, Thomas Jolly, had said, "The idea was to have a pagan celebration connected to the gods of Olympus. You will never find in me a desire to mock and denigrate anyone. The idea was to create a big pagan party in link with the God of Mount Olympus."
