Do not mistake what is expressed on this forum to necessarily represent THE Jewish thoughts, Jewish beliefs, Jewish understandings on just about anything. Firstly, as I have pointed out in the past Judaism is not monolithic. Secondly, these days this forum has very few active members, let alone active Jewish members. You are not getting a representative sampling of anybody.
