The Relationship Between Judaism and Christianity

What I heard is that the Judaism will be the religion of world at the time of the Messiah appearance, but what I stopped at thinking in is how that the Judaism will be the religion of world while Christianity has more followers in world, but it seems right to me that the Judaism is the religion of world now from many signs, not necessary depending on the number of the followers.
