As you are no doubt aware, the word “goy” actually means nothing more than nation, which is why the Jewish people are often referred to as a goy kadosh. Although the word came to simply signify, via its adoption into Yiddish, non-Jews, it then became, over time, a term that is dismissive, disrespectful, pejorative. It is no more proper, in most instances, to use the word as you have than it is for someone to use the word “kike” when referring to Jews.

I don't understand the point of this thread. Is the idea that gentiles are afraid of Jews living in Israel? I've never heard anything like that before. As a gentile and a human being, the only thing I fear about Israel is the growing tension, conflict, violence, and warfare between Jews and Palestinians and other Arab nations becoming more and more intractable. Responsibility for this falls on a lot of people.

The term “goy” plural “goyim” means “non-Jew” and has NO negative connotation unless deliberately given one by a context; it is the equivalent of “gentile”:

Quote:'[“goy” plural “goyim”] A word used by some Jews to refer to Gentiles (non-Jews). The word can have derogatory connotations, such as the word "black" when used to refer to a persons of African descent. It can be neutral or negative depending on the context and the intent of the speaker. [...] [...]'

Most "criticism(s)" / “accusations” against Israel are found to be typically-UNSUBSTANTIATED such that they insult the reader’s intelligence by being typically-alleged, with:
No detail, no objective-sources; zero evidence.

From this we can also conclude that the anti-Semitic psychological-desire for the genocide of the Jewish people is presenting as the desire to destroy Israel.

While not suggesting this applies to contributor "robrecht", for many:
"Fear" maybe not, but "hatred" yes; against the Jewish people having self-determination within their ancestral-homeland of Israel.

By the way, there was a TV documentary series about the years leading to the re-establishment of Israel, called "Pillar of Fire":

Episode 4 was called "Who’s Afraid of a Jewish State? 1937–1939", and this is only episode of the series which has been completely expunged from the Internet.
