Hello I am new to the forum. I am not Jewish myself just hoping to find good information. I recently learned of the Paleo-Hebrew alphabet. I noticed some similarities to Viking alphabets and runes I have seen. Does anyone know if the old Scandinavian languages had their root in Hebrew?
I am not Jewish or a Gentile but would love to discuss my beliefs if I thought anyone would understand. They are different than most but rooted in Old Testament like everyone else’s.

As I said in the other thread, I only see a rather limited similarity of a few of the runes to Phoenician/paleo-Hebrew. But, again, I am no expert in old Skandinavian, but it's obviously Germanic. Here's a few links to get you started:
