Seders

How is the corona virus and the stay at home orders from many states affecting your seder? I usually go out of town to friends and still plan to, but is anyone altering their plans because of the virus?

I don't know that I'm going to have any place to go. We're basically closed down.

Yes, the Rabbi's here have directed everyone to stay home but do have a reach out for those who are alone.

Don't forget, we here in NYC are in the "epicenter".

I think we might end up doing a small seder at home. There are three roommates living together in our rather large apartment. One of them is certainly going back to his family (despite instructions not to do so), so it will be two of us for Pesach.

So, we ordered delivery Pesach meals today. We'll have a little home seder. It'll be me, my roommate, and one of our friends. The second roommate is going to his parents' house in Kiryat Gat. His brother will have to come pick him up, since there is no public transportation.

Chabad is offering seder meals too. Thought about getting one and just having my own little seder, but I think I go up to my friends. We are all healthy and are staying (mostly) home.

Chabad is offering "Seder Kits" here.

Stay safe and healthy everyone!

Yeah, I think that's what we settled on – a seder kit from Chabad. I think we picked one up that is made to suite 5 people. We bought a whole case of wine from Bnei Brak.
