Let's first be clear about who currently owns "Ben & Jerry's":
Their statement thereby complies with "Palestinian" Arab propaganda falsely-validated by the Arab-dominated United Nations, falsely-asserting an Israeli (illegal) "occupation" of the "West Bank".
Judah and Samaria has only been known as the "West Bank" since 1948 when the Jordanians illegally-occupied it.

The "West Bank" is land of the former Jewish kingdoms of Judah and Samaria, and also of the post-Biblical (Jewish) Hasmonean Kingdom.
Due to the Romans having imposed the name “Palestina” (Palestine) on Roman-occupied Jewish Judah / Israel, some old maps are entitled “Palestine”, but when you then look at the actual land area, the label “Palestine” is NOT used, but instead you correctly see the labels “Judea” and “Samaria”.

The Jewish people have had previous sovereign state sin the land (states that included the "West Bank"), whereas by comparison there has never been any indigenous "Palestine" / Arab sovereign state in the land upon which the "Palestinian" Arabs could base any claim to any part of the land of Israel.
