These are old demands, that were already included in the MOU to which Trump had agreed and against which he acted.

There are others—I would say the majority of the world—who see Trump the way you describe.

There are governments around the world that can't be trusted and Iran is just one of them. The USA and Israel tried to cut off the head of Iran, the old Ayatollah. Now we have another Khameney who is even a greater hardliner. 

The question is whether the economic and security-related consequences of excessive bombing — if not human compassion itself for instance in the face of the wiping out of a girls' school in Minab — should deter such actions.

The Iranians placed the girl's school on their military base. Now I wonder why they did that?
