| Question on 'im' ending in Gen 6:16 |

Greetings,
[Gen 6:16 KJV] 16 A window shalt thou make to the ark, and in a cubit shalt thou finish it above; and the door of the ark shalt thou set in the side thereof; [with] lower, second, and third [stories] shalt thou make it.
lower, second, and third [stories]
lower, second, and third [stories]
"Stories" is in parenthesis because there is not a single Hebrew word corresponding to it, rather, it is adduced from the word ending of one of the Hebrew words. Let's look at the Hebrew word endings corresponding to lower, second, and third. Each of these 3 words end in the plural form, ie. 'im'. In hebrew font it is:
תַּחְתִּיִּם שְׁנִיִּם וּשְׁלִשִׁים
The Hebrew in English font is:
TChtim ShNim NShLShim
Notice all three words end in 'im'.
I am not sure, but iIt seems to be saying
lowers, seconds, and thirds.
Am I correct?
Either way, I would appreciate any discussion on this.
Thanks in advance..
Also, there is a similar verse for consideration:
Eze 42:3 Over against the twenty [cubits] which [were] for the inner court, and over against the pavement which [was] for the utter court, [was] gallery against gallery in three [stories].
three [stories].
three [stories].
three [stories].

| A Comparison of Hebrew and Syriac |

The similarities are strong from a conceptual stance, but the differences are so significant that Syriac will definitely be learning a completely different language. If you get intimidated by languages, knowing Hebrew will make Syriac look easy. But you'll still have to learn a ton of vocabulary and idiom to learn Syriac. Both languages are semitic and based on trilateral consonantal roots. Syriac has a less articulate system of pronunciation, so morphology is generally easier. The Syriac Verbal system is much easier, reflecting our common notions of tense much more directly than in Hebrew, which is strongly aspectual and temporality often has to be determined from context.
So in short, Hebrew and Syriac are different languages. Syriac is easier, though. If you know Hebrew, Syriac will come off like a breeze. However, you'll still have to learn a lot of words and idioms.

Hey you guys,
I am looking to find answers from seriously studied folks here that can help me understand what is the Jewish perspective of the covenant relationship between G-d and Israel in the Hebrew Scriptures. Would you be willing to answer some questions of mine?

Video - 1 minute 39 seconds.
As I watched this video again. I'm thinking that life is either consolation or desolation in my case, and it can last longer than a week. Consolation is when everything is going great, life just flows along, we have awareness, and feel fulfillment.
Desolation is feeling occasionally fearful, maybe obsessing and worrying, things don't seem to fit as they did. Tiny accidents seem to follow. Maybe a bit like feeling out of step with life.
I am grateful this week is going well. I think it's important that we remember how it feels to be in both ways. It's good to remember consolation when we are in desolation, and desolation when we are in consolation. And I'll tell you whats really important in my case. Both these feeling last as long as they are supposed to last, they don't drag on endlessly. They seem to be carefully timed. There are so many ways to look at it. We are in one so we can appreciate the other.
