22 April 2022 Query to Ask A Rabbi Aish Torah:
Query about a pattern among galat Jewish communites....which are very old communities...{Jews from Yemen and Ethiopia settled there about the time of King Solomon..the Jews of Iraq about the time of the Prophet Erza] yet with little exceptions..a pattern develops...first the Jews are accused of being "different" in the Galat host country..soon they are accused of terrible crimes against non-jews...massacres and expulsations over the centuries....until a rement is left...Yet even when it becomes painfully oblivious that the only hope for survival is to go up to Israel...[some survivors have nothing but a Torah scroll and the clothes on their backs]..yet what is puzzeling is this...that even when the obvious fate of a galat community is destruction...there are those who refuse to go up to Israel...feeling that their residence and "services" to their galat country will save them...now the Torah message is to choose life...yet refusing to go up will not result in living....question is there an answear in the Torah about why those choose this course of action?
24 April 2002 receieved the following answear:
Dear
Thank you for your question. It is not clear from the Torah exactly why this has happened many times in our history but it is certainly well precedented all the way back to the days of the Babylonian exile when the majority of the Jewish People did not return when able. The bottom line is our history is replete with opportunities and missed opportunities and certainly the learning and fixing that is still necessary is that we must come home to our homeland when the opportunity presents itself.
With blessings from Jerusalem,
Rabbi Yoni Miller

My mom is pressuring me to get on my two feet, and I also have schoolwork, disabilities, and a dream of attending med school (which my mom doesn't believe I can do). I got a job at a gas station convenience store, and they scheduled me to work saturdays because I went back to islam since the last time i washere (I should mention I have ptsd, or possibly borderline personality disorder, so I often shift identities frequently, but I have often wanted to convert to judaism, but fear of isolation or shame has prevented me, despite my mother's acceptance. i also fear change due to high functioning autism, but I feel like this is something i am going to do eventually). I know many reform jews work on saturdays, i dont know what the conservative position is, i know what the orthodox position is, but i feel if i convert to reform people won't take me seriously like one testimony i heard on a video promoting conversion to judaism where a woman ended up converting to orthodox). is it ok to work saturdays? am i overdoing it? i apologize if i have said anything offensive.

On 14.4.2022 a query to Ask A Rabbi Chabbad
Date 04/14/2022
Incident ID. 5612136
Drawing Lessons from the Torah?
Question: Can a devout Jewish person draw life lessons from the Torah?
Examples:
1) Noah and the Flood..
Lesson from the flood (Gentile enemies) of Israel are trying to destroy the Jewish nation [Noah & his family]. Yet because he listened to the L-D..Noah and his family were saved...because the Ark [Torah the Talmud the Oral Law] rested on mountain [the Land of Israel] the Dove signafices the L-D's presence.
2] Samson and Deleliah
As long as Samson [Israel] was not just consecrated to the L-D but also trusted in the L-d he could not be defeated...but when he fell away from the L-D because of Deleliah [gentile non jewish way of life] he was captured and blinded..yet only when he again turned to the L-D he could defeat Israel's enemies...
Are these lessons within the framework of Torah teaching. Please correct me if I'm mistaken
P.S. Comment on Russian-Ukraine war...so far 10,000 to 12,000 Jews have gone up to Israel...at this rate of 2 months and 2-3 years all 200,000 Jews from Ukraine will have gone up to Israel...provided they take up the Lesson to go up to Israel...and not make the Ukraine a "Jewish Country"..May all Jews go up to Israel..
on 20 April 2022 received an answer:

Hi
Thank you for your question.
Yes, we are certainly allowed and encouraged to learn life lessons from the stories of the Torah.
However one must be careful while doing do. Great Torah scholars have a broad enough vision to see the proper lessons from a story. But those of us who are less knowledgeable should do so with great caution. One can easily take an inappropriate message that is not in keeping with the Torah's intention.
If you have any further questions, please let us know.
All the best
Rabbi Shlomie Deren

From Frederick Forsyth's 1997 "Icon" {Wikipedia]
Set between July 1999 and January 2000, the story revolves around Russian presidential candidate Igor Komarov, head of the right-wing Union of Patriotic Forces (UPF).
A highly popular and charismatic politician, victory is all but guaranteed for Komarov and the UPF in the national elections on 16 January 2000. However, a secret document, later known as the "Black Manifesto", is stolen from his secretary's empty office at UPF headquarters by Leonid Zaitsev, an elderly janitor and ex-soldier who happens to skim through the document while cleaning. The document contains extremely sensitive information regarding Komarov's future policies as president, "such as the restoration of slave camps, creation of a one-party state, destruction of political opponents, invasions of the former Soviet republics," and genocide of Russia's ethnic and religious minorities.
And 26 Years later....
