1. Educational Purpose

This server exists for the study and discussion of biblical languages, including Hebrew, Aramaic, Greek, and related linguistic subjects. Discussions should remain focused on language, grammar, vocabulary, textual analysis, translation, and historical linguistic context.

2. Religious Neutrality

This is not a religious, devotional, or confessional server. Members of all religious backgrounds, as well as those with no religious affiliation, are welcome. No participant’s beliefs, practices, or lack thereof should be criticized, mocked, or attacked.

3. Respect for Diverse Views

Members will encounter a variety of religious and non-religious perspectives. Treat all participants with courtesy and respect. Disagreements are expected, but personal attacks, ridicule, or hostile behavior are not acceptable.

4. Language Before Interpretation

Discussion should prioritize the biblical languages themselves rather than doctrinal debates, theological disputes, apologetics, or devotional teaching. Linguistic observations may naturally impact interpretation, but extended debates about theology or religious doctrine belong elsewhere.

5. No Proselytizing

Attempts to convert, persuade, recruit, preach to, or evangelize other members are not permitted. The purpose of this community is language learning and scholarship, not religious advocacy.

6. Be Civil and Constructive

Treat others as fellow learners. Assume good intentions, be patient with questions, and offer corrections or disagreements in a respectful and constructive manner.

7. No Harassment or Discrimination

Harassment, intimidation, hate speech, discrimination, or targeted hostility based on religion, nationality, ethnicity, sex, disability, or other personal characteristics will not be tolerated.

8. Stay on Topic

Use channels according to their intended purpose. Excessively off-topic conversations, political discussions, or debates unrelated to the study of biblical languages may be redirected or removed by moderators.

9. Moderator and Administrator Decisions

Moderators and administrators are responsible for maintaining the server’s purpose and atmosphere. Their decisions regarding rules, content, and member conduct must be respected. If you disagree with a moderation action, discuss it privately with the moderation team rather than publicly disrupting the community.

10. Enforcement

Failure to follow these rules may result in warnings, message removal, temporary restrictions, or removal from the server. Moderators may take action when necessary to preserve a respectful and productive learning environment.

Guiding Principle

We gather here not because we share the same beliefs, but because we share an interest in understanding biblical languages. Mutual respect, intellectual curiosity, and a focus on language study are the foundation of this community.
