Small 1" cubes, open on one end. Too small for a tefillin.

PAschal lamb sacrafice and the 3d Temple

Modern attempts to reveive the sacrafice  Wikipedia
In 2007, a group of rabbis including Adin Steinsalz and other members of the New Sanhedrin Council supported by the Temple Mount Faithful identified a Kohen who was a butcher, made plans for conducting a Passover sacrifice on the Temple Mount, and petitioned the Israeli High Court of Justice for permission. The Court sided with the government and rejected the request, holding that such an event would inflame religious tensions and would threaten security. The incident was a successor to a series of earlier attempts by various groups to perform such a sacrifice, either openly or by subterfuge.[4][5]

In 2008, the animal rights group Let the Animals Live (Tnoo Lachayot Lichyot in Hebrew) founded in 1986,[6][7] sued the Temple Institute, claiming its conduct of a practice Passover sacrifice demonstration would constitute animal cruelty. An Israeli court rejected the claim.[8]

In 2016, Jewish activists pushing for a third temple in Jerusalem attempted to ascend the Temple Mount carrying baby goats intended to be used as Passover sacrifices on Friday afternoon, as they do every year. Jerusalem police detained ten suspects in the Old City for interrogation, and seized four sacrificial goat kids. Among those arrested were Kach activist Noam Federman, who attempts to make the sacrifice every year, and Rafael Morris, an activist in the Temple Mount Faithful movement.[citation needed]

The annual attempt to ascend the Temple Mount to perform the sacrifice in 2022 spawned widespread rumours of Jewish extremists supposedly planning to enter the Al-Aqsa Compound, where Jews are heavily restricted from entering and Jewish prayer is forbidden, inciting a riot which ultimately led to the 2022 Al-Aqsa Mosque storming"

In conclusion I can only comment when the 3d Temple appears
There will be two reactions
Devout Jews will start the sacrafice again Cool Big Grin Heart
There will be a howl of rage from those whose deepest fear has come about...the 3rd Temple is evidence  of the existenceof the L-d; it will be going to be permenent and Jews will worship there Cool

Comment-Begining in 2023 things are starting  to get worse for the 1,500 Jews in Tunisa..the same old pattern for Jews in Arab Countries:first arbituary arrests of jews; followed descecration of synagagoes and jewish cemetery vandalism;Jews will be victiums of violent attack by the local polulace;  then Jews will be found guilty in treason trials; Jews will be denouced for attacking the PLO/Hamas/Hezbollah/etc the end result  Jews will be compeled to leave for Israel with nothing but their community Torah scroll and the clothing on their backs--not just Tunisa--Kurdestan is expelling Jews and telling them never to come back...The last large jewish counities will be Morrocco {1,000} and Iran {8,000]...yet its only a matter of time before the pattern falls on them as well...Just like Exodus....80% of Jews assimilated/died in Egypt...only 20% who remembered they were Jews were allowed to go up ot Israel...so when the Jewish refugees from Tunisa; Kurdestan, Morrocco and Iran  go up to Israel...welcome them and help them settle...in Israel

What's a good gift for the Rabbi
Posted by: challa - 03-17-2025, 04:03 PM - Forum: Judaism General - Replies (1)

The Rebbetzin just had a baby girl and I want to send the family a gift.
I was thinking about a little dress with a star of David embroidery for the baby, but I was wondering if an item of clothing might have a Shaatnez problem. Even if it is 100% polyester. The dresses are 97% polyester and 3% spandex.
Then I was thinking about a kosher basket of chocolate, but again, how would I know what type of kosher the Rabbi requires.
If any ideas come to mind (for a good gift) that would make the family happy, please share, thanks!

  Hello!
Posted by: Searcher - 03-05-2025, 08:02 PM - Forum: Introductions - Replies (2)

I'm not exactly new, but due to privacy reasons (as I was granted permission to create a new name) I will simply be referred to as Searcher.

I guess the name is self-explanatory. This past year has been kind of something and I feel like I'm (re?)kindling a spiritual journey. I'm a gentile, but for years I had wondered about Judaism as for one I had grown up as a Catholic but wondered around for a little bit and couldn't find all the explanations for the questions I've had since I was young. One thing led to another and I found myself at first looking at the Messianic sect and then learned more about the Jewish faith.

I've read the Five Books of Moses years ago and might do so again to refresh my memory, along with using other resources to help along. I've considered on becoming a Noahide as that would probably be the furthest I can go at this point in my life.

I hope to meet others in a similar situation as well as fellow Jews who can help me on this path.
