Possible consequence of failing to resume hostilities against Hamas
Posted by: Robert - 11-30-2023, 03:08 PM - Forum: Israel - Replies (1)

The October 7th, 2023 invasion from Gaza proved to be apparently of "unexpected" severity, where subsequently the Israeli security services will need to establish what went wrong, and also, how it can be prevented in the future but depending on the circumstances currently playing themselves out ...

While I am no expert and also, a nobody, so no one is likely to take any notice of me, yet I believe it is correct to point out anyway, the following note of warning:

Just as the amount of attackers (terrorists) taking part in the October 7th, massacre-attack were apparently at the time underestimated, if Israel does not resume the war against Hamas, so will a similar underestimation occur some time in the future (whether near-future or distant). In any next such occasion, instead of a thousand terrorists issuing forth from Gaza, a place from which Israel gets zero time warning of any ground-invasion, it will be thousands with catastrophic consequences for the continuance of the State !

Internationally, there appears to be significant horror expressed as to the wellbeing of the Gazan "Palestinian" Arabs, yet by comparison, little such horror expressed over the plight of people in other conflict zones such as for example Sudan, Tigray - Ethiopia, and Yemen.
Currently, President Biden is seeking re-election, whose political party does not recognize the land of Israel to be the ancestral homeland of the Jewish people; the subsequent days ahead will determine whether Israel is truly still a sovereign state, or has become a mere vassal state of the U.S.A.

Israel must NOT give-in to international pressure; other countries do NOT have Israel's best interests at heart.

November 30, 2023.

Update:

The "Palestinian" Arabs obtained autonomy of the whole of Gaza (together with 40% of Judah and Samaria ("West Bank")) under the Oslo Accords:
"Hamas" has never observed the Oslo Accords over the years firing thousands of rockets at Israeli cities whenever the fancy takes them, while "Fatah (under its guise of "Palestinian Authority, the") teaches to its children in its educational textbooks hatred of Jews and in which they also claim the whole of Israel (to none of it do the "Palestinian" Arabs have any verifiable-claim), and conduct a terrorist campaign in Judah and Samaria ("West Bank") and the rest of Israel.

The "Palestinian" Arabs therefore being in blatant and indeed cynical, breach of the Oslo Accords, and devoid of any verifiable claims on any part of the land of Israel (which for propaganda purposes they and their United Nations and European Union friends, call "Palestine"), are therefore squatters and illegal-occupiers.

Many Egyptians entered Gaza as new "Palestinians" under the illegal-occupation of Gaza by Egypt 1948 to 1967 -  copies of two such passports issued by the then Egyptian illegal-occupiers of Gaza:
https://www.mediafire.com/file/3ofilrrsl...s.pdf/file

Over a third of the 100 most numerous "Palestinian" Arab surnames are more numerous in Egypt than in the "Palestine region":
See my “Country Origin of Palestinian Arab Surnames upd.pdf” - Information source “forebears.io”:
https://www.mediafire.com/file/9d115bv6w...d.pdf/file

"Palestinian" Arab propaganda has sought to convince people with the falsehood that the Jews/Israel have expelled/are expelling them. It may be that the time has now come to cause those "Palestinian" Arabs in Gaza (that is, those who are neither citizens of Israel nor have Israeli "resident" status) to be caused at last, to be truthful on this matter.

I am using a PC with either an old version of Microsoft Word, or WordPad.
At the moment, if I paste Hebrew onto this website, each Hebrew letter is replaced by a question mark.

To what do the Media really refer by, Palestinians "throwing stones".
Posted by: Robert - 11-28-2023, 04:07 PM - Forum: Israel - Replies (2)

To what do the Media really refer by, Palestinians "throwing stones"?

The frequent use by the "Palestinian" Arabs of slingshots.
Here's an example:
Image: “A Palestinian protester hurls stones [using a sling shot] at Israeli soldiers in the West Bank city of Bethlehem, on Sep 21, 2015.” ... Photo: Xinhua”:
http://www.globaltimes.cn/content/943710.shtml

See also: heading: "Palestinian rock-thrower kills Israeli soldier in West Bank: military" Reuters, May 12, 2020:
https://www.yahoo.com/news/israeli-soldi...32556.html

The following constitutes fairly typical reporting by the Media:
Example:
Recently Bryan Quinn on France 24 English used words same or similar to the following, regarding the release of "Palestinian" Arab prisoners by Israel, in exchange for hostages held by Hamas:
"Some having been held for as 'minor' things, as throwing stones".

Yet while apparently unaware that the word "throwing" is a Media-device to whitewash the use of sling-shots by "Palestinian" Arabs.

Stoning is still used as a form of execution in some Arab countries.
Anyone using a sling-shot to fire a stone at a person should be charged with attempted murder or terrorism, or both, depending on the circumstances.

I have a suggestion to make to Mr. Quinn and all those who apparently do not believe in the potentially lethal-nature of being hit by a stone:
Do not try the following experiment:
Stand someone about whom you do care, in front of a "Palestinian" Arab "throwing" stones, and then report the result back to us:
Alternatively, do not try the following substitute experiment:
Perhaps anyone who says they do not consider stone-throwing to be life-threatening would volunteer to place themselves in front of a "Palestinian" Arab "throwing" stones, and then report the result back to us (if they still can).
No - Didn't think so !

An Explanation for the Dispute over the Land of Israel
Posted by: Robert - 11-28-2023, 03:36 PM - Forum: Israel - No Replies

Israel is Re-established within the Jewish ancestral homeland. Internationally-recognized history shows that the last indigenous sovereign state in the land of Israel (Roman-imposed name “Palestine”), prior to the RE-establishment of Israel in 1948, was the post-Biblical Jewish Hasmonean Kingdom. It included the: “West Bank”, Gaza, and Golan Heights. Capital (what is now “EAST”) Jerusalem / “Old City”; between 110 BCE / 754 BH and 63 BCE / 706 BH - Map:
https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/c...ingdom.jpg

The reader can also learn how the Jewish Hasmonean Kingdom re-gained its independence from the Greek Seleucid empire, from the following two sources:

Extract from “Josephus - “Antiquities of the Jews”, Book 13, part of Paragraph 11 of Chapter 5, to end of Chapter 7.
(PDF file comprising introduction and then one paragraph to each page, total 16 pages):

Extract from “1 Maccabees”, Chapters 14 to 16 inclusive.

Coins from the Jewish Hasmonean Kingdom:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hasmonean_coinage

The independence of Judah ended with Roman occupation, and many but not all Jews, were exiled, including to Europe. The Roman occupiers imposed the name “Palestine” (from the (by then defunct) smaller Philistine region) onto the land, to seek to negate the names Israel / Judah; as likewise do today’s “Palestinian” Arabs:
https://www.encyclopedia.com/religion/en...man-empire

“Palestinian” Arab propaganda falsely-denies the Judah heritage of the Jewish people (“Jew”=citizen of “Judah” - Judaism is both an ethnicity and a religion), and falsely-claims the “Palestinian” Arabs are descendants of Jews. This is to dishonestly evade the noble Quran’s recognition that the Land of Israel is given by Allah / God to the Jewish people (noble Quran: Sura “Al-Maaida” 5:21, extract below). They do this to perpetrate a hoax that Jewish Israelis are foreign invaders.

The reason for their propaganda is to perpetrate a hoax that Jewish Israelis are foreign invaders. This being an attempt to justify taking the land of Israel, in which the Jewish community has had unbroken presence from Biblical times (see further below).

Referring to the Bible where it talks about the Jewish people being given the land of Canaan by Allah / God, the noble Quran recognizes that the Land of Israel is given by Allah / God to the Jewish people, saying:

- - - - Start of English translation extract from the noble Quran: - - - -

Quote:Sura (chapter) “Al-Maaida” [“The Table” or “The Table Spread with Food”] 5:21:

“O my people! Enter the holy land which Allah hath assigned unto you,
and turn not back ignominiously, for then will ye be overthrown, to your own ruin.”

Translation extract source:
http://www.searchtruth.com/chapter_displ...tor=2&mac=
- - - - End of English translation extract from the noble Quran - - - -

The noble Quran mentions kings of Israel, for example:
> King Saul, King David, see: Surah Al-Baqarah (The Cow): 2:251.
> King David, King Solomon, see: Surah Saad: 38:30.
> King Solomon, see: Surah Saad: 38:34-40.

The Holocaust speeded-up a return by some Jewish exiles to their homeland, which had already been underway before the second world war. Yet modern Israel was not re-established because of the Holocaust, but because the land is the ancestral-homeland of the Jewish people.

The Jewish people are the indigenous people of their ancestral homeland of Israel with unbroken presence there since Biblical times:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demographi...e_(region)

Why then do we refer to a “Return” of some Jewish exiles? While there is unbroken Jewish presence in the land of Israel from Biblical times, some Jewish exiles wished to return to their ancestral homeland of Israel. The clue is in the name:
“Jew” refers to the citizens of “Judah” / Israel.

There has never been an indigenous “Palestine” / Arab sovereign state in the land of Israel upon which the “Palestinian” Arabs could base any claim to any part of Israel.
The League of Nations in 1922 resurrecting the name “Palestine” from Roman occupation, authorized a British Mandate; an administrative region ruled by a foreign imperial power. JEWISH citizens of the British Mandate were Palestinian: Irrespective of race or religion citizens of the British Mandate became: “Palestinian”.
The Media referred to its inhabitants, as:
“Palestinian Arabs”, / “Palestinian Jews”, or as: “Arabs” / “Jews”.

The prior Ottoman Turkish empire did not use any such political name as “Palestine”, but rather Ottoman-occupied Judah / Israel was within the Ottoman province of “Syria”.

The “Palestinian Arabs” dropped the name “Arab” so you should not understand they mostly originate from Foreign-Arab-Migrant-Workers who came to the land of Israel just prior to, and during, the British Mandate - See “Arab Immigration to Historic Palestine: A Survey”, by Richard Mather:
https://richardmatherblog.wordpress.com/2015/05/

The “Palestinian” Arabs having considered themselves to be Arab only, this is why they were opposed to being called a “People” until the 1960’s, when they decided it fitted with their intention to steal the land of Israel from its indigenous Jews:
http://www.targetofopportunity.com/pales..._truth.htm

Israel (size of New Jersey state in the U.S., or Wales in the U.K.) was Re-established in 1948 following a United Nations Partition Plan which had sought to set up two states, one Jewish and one Arab. However, it takes more than one party to make an agreement:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Nati..._Palestine

The then Palestinian Jewish Community accepted the U.N. Partition Plan, while in 1947 the “Palestinian” Arabs commenced a civil war to oppose it, instead take ALL the land, and expel (or murder) the Jews. Arab countries also attacked with the same objectives, but the Arabs lost the war.

However, Jordan illegally-occupied the West Bank, and also East Jerusalem from which the Jordanians expelled the Jews.
Egypt illegally-occupied the Gaza strip. Neither of them offered any area to the “Palestinian” Arabs.

Jordanian illegal-occupation of the West Bank and East Jerusalem:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jordanian_..._West_Bank

Egyptian illegal-occupation of Gaza:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Occupation...p_by_Egypt

“Palestinian” Arab propaganda falsely-alleges the Re-establishment of Israel caused: a “great injustice” / “nakba” (“catastrophe” / “disaster”) to the “Palestinian” Arabs.
In reality:
> The “Palestinian” Arabs violently rejected the Arab state of the U.N. Partition Plan;
> Jordan and Egypt occupied the land proposed for an Arab state under the U.N. Partition Plan (approximating to the West Bank and Gaza);
> BOTH Arabs and Jews, became war-refugees;
> The Palestinians falsely-claim with no evidence of any such policy that they were expelled from the land; Jews were indeed expelled by the Arabs as policy.
> “Palestinian” Arabs live and work in Israel.
Therefore the reader is entitled to be skeptical about “Palestinian” Arab propaganda alleging a fantasy-injustice.

Some Arab refugees had owned land / homes in the land of Israel, but private land / home ownership does not of itself amount to proof of entitlement to the sovereignty of the country in which a community lives.
Some “Palestinian” Arabs have Israeli citizenship, while most refuse it because they falsely-claim ALL the land of Israel.

In 1967 Israel gained control of the West Bank and Gaza and as an attempt at “land for peace” under the Oslo Accords, granted the “Palestinian” Arabs autonomy of part of the West Bank (40%) and the whole of Gaza (anticipating a peace treaty until when the land remains Israel’s).
Afterwhich the “Palestinian” Arabs:
> Do not sincerely negotiate any peace treaty.
> Make an unverifiable false-claim to ALL the land of Israel.
> Want to expel the Jews from the Jews ancestral-homeland of Israel.
> fire thousands of rockets at Israeli cities whenever the fancy takes them.
> Attack Israeli Jewish civilians as policy including children.
No wonder anti-Semites display such emotional-support for the “Palestinian” Arabs !

Israel is often accused of being in breach of United Nations resolutions. This is because the “Palestinian” Arabs start-off in U.N. votes by enjoying a block-vote in their favor of up to 56 Arab and additional Islamic-aligned countries (e.g. U.N. member states that are also members of the “Organization of Islamic Cooperation” and follow its policies when voting in the U.N.), and influence of Arab oil money with consequential trading power; compared to Israel’s one vote.
U.N. resolutions on Israel give the appearance of having been drafted for the U.N. by a “Palestinian-Propaganda-Central” in Ramallah.

Fully-complicit with “Palestinian” Arab propaganda falsely-denying Jewish roots in the Jews ancestral homeland of Israel, the U.N and European Union do not recognize the land of Israel as being the ancestral homeland of the Jewish people. Both organizations regard the Jewish people as “invaders”, thus as “thieves” and “illegal-occupiers” of the Jews OWN land (of prior Jewish kingdoms of Judah / Israel: Example, the Hasmonean Kingdom - see Map - source above), thus of building “illegal-settlements”, with Palestinian terrorism falsely-considered as: “resistance to occupation”.

The Jews then, the only people in the world falsely and perversely accused of having “stolen” and of “illegally-occupying”, their own ancestral homeland of Israel.

The “Palestinian” Arabs obtained a bogus-refugee status that “passes through the generations”, due to a U.N. block-vote in their favor of Arab and Islamic-aligned countries, Arab oil influence & trading power. See:
https://www.mediafire.com/file/tw84ikb2o...fugees.pdf

Supporting the “Palestinian” Arabs is NO support for any two-state solution. Why?
The “Palestinian” Arabs deceive the world they seek a two-state solution, whereas in reality they falsely-claim ALL the land of Israel (to none of which do they have any verifiable-claim) and seek to expel or murder the Jews. This is clear from what is taught by the Palestinian education system and “Palestinian National Charter”.

The Incompatibility of Judaism & Zionism
Posted by: Dana - 11-27-2023, 01:06 AM - Forum: Judaism General - Replies (5)

I thought this short video to be quite helpful to my understanding of Judaism and how it is not the same as Zionism.  It is only 4 minutes long, yet Rabbi Yaakov Shapiro explains that Zionism was created to replace Judaism.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x5T_Qu12ACs

Coming from a Christian background I can appreciate the spiritual lessons taught from Judaism including the use of the Hebrew language and comparing texts that have helped me to re-examine much of what I had been taught.

  Reincarnation
Posted by: Blue Bird - 11-20-2023, 06:39 PM - Forum: Judaism General - Replies (10)

Hello, I learned here that in addition to the Tanakh, there are several other writings in Judaism, for example the Talmud. I thought that they were all related to the Torah in some way, or that the Torah was the basis of everything.

A Jew told me about his past lives and that reincarnation was a common view in Judaism. This desturbed me very much, but I thought this was a view that only a single person had. Now I came across a video that talked about the Kabbalah teaching and that some people in the Bible were reincarnated as other people later in the book. The Christian Bible says "It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment."(Hebr. 9:27) and God says to Moshe in Deuteronomy 31:16 "Behold, you are about to lie with your forefathers." Moshe wasn't perfect when he died ("Since you did not have faith in Me to sanctify Me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly to the Land which I have given them." Numbers 20:12) so as I understand it, he was a candidat for reincarnation. But God only fortold his future with his fathers (and thus confessing that they also stay in the land of the dead).

What is reincarnation all about and how did the authors of Kabbalah come to their teaching?

Survey on Palestinian support for the October 7 2023 massacre
Posted by: Robert - 11-19-2023, 08:12 PM - Forum: Israel - No Replies

A survey has been carried out on "Palestinian" Arab views on the October 7, 2023 massacre, with highlights of the results reported by ILTV, Israel Daily News of November 19, 2023:

Quote:“[...] a recent concerning poll [...] found that Palestinians in both Gaza and Judea and Samaria strongly support Hamas and the October 7th [2023] attack.
ILTV's Deborah Klein [my spelling from audio] has disturbing news:

‘In the aftermath of the October 7th [2023] massacre, opinions on the war are sharply divided globally. According to a recent poll by the “Arab World for Research and Development”, Palestinian society appears less divided on the matter compared to the rest of the world. The survey, conducted on November 14th [2023], asked Palestinians about their support for the massacre, with the majority of respondents expressing support for the attack.

Breaking down the data, 63.6% of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip supported the attack to some extent, with 14.4% expressing neither support nor opposition.

In Judea and Samaria the support [for the attack] was higher at 75.2%.

However, a notable 20.9% of Gazans opposed the attack.

When asked about the motives behind the operation, a significant portion believed the attack aims to quote, “free Palestine”;
while others saw it as a move to break the siege on the Gaza Strip.
Only a small percentage attributed the attack to stopping the peace process or stopping [“]settlement[”].

Finally, in defining the conflict, only 18.6% of respondents viewed it as a war between Israel and the Hamas terrorist organization.
The majority 63.6% perceived it as a war between Israel and Palestinians in general,
while 9.4% considered it a war between the western world and the Arab world.’ [...]“
